We need your help, one of our servers was shutdown!
Guys, I hate to write this, but we really do need some help from our supporters and fans. Today one of our US based servers was shutdown due to lack of payment, we need to raise $86 to get it back online. I spend over $500 a month on server fee’s alone to provide the best quality possible not only for our encoding, and our subtitles, but for group collaboration, multimedia transcoding, torrent seeding, xdcc bots, and cloud hosted webservers. We have now over 4200 Mbps of bandwidth for our distro, we have servers in Los Angelas, Orlando, Jacksonville, Robaix France, Strassborg France, and now Hong Kong / Tokyo; This is all in an effort to provide our loyal fans and supporters with the best possible. It is unfortunate that I wasn’t able to cover this small amount from my own pocket, but due to my health issues I had to spend the money on $186 synthetic Insulin, it was literally a matter of life or death.
So for TL;DR we really need some donations, please consider donating to help support sage and get our US East server back online as soon as possible!!

We made a decision to not sell-out, we have had offers from marketing firms, but turned them down, but this is all up to Cardslash, since this is her group, ultimately its her call. I have begun to stream line the server effeciency to reduce costs, and hopefully I won’t need to pull as much out of pocket and thus rely even less on our generous supporters. Unlike some groups though, I can guarantee every penny is spent on BD’s, DVD’s, Webservers, domain fees, high bandwidth distribution servers and encoding servers. I definitely lose money on this hobby, and thats how it should be, atleast in my opinion.
like most hobbies it does drain the pockets.. from time to time when i get a few bucks left over from paying bills i put a few bucks to your site. i do appreciate your groups hard work on bringing good subs!

why not create a ad page so its not on every page i have managed a few websites in my time. like pay per square or something to that effect so your not “selling out”.

Hi, I can’t help but feel like you need some of your misconceptions cleared up. I’m worried over your health that you feel such a .. well disturbing telling the post author and thread OP to ‘Die of diabetes for real’ ,,trying .. not to thats why I had trouble paying the server charges our of my pocket that month when the donations ran short, because i was still adapting to my new much more restricted and must-have budget. But just to make you happy, i think i will keep on living.
Finally for your ‘or just kill yourself, you scammer fuck.’ remark, I honestly don’t even know where this crap could’ve been thought up, you sir are most likely a mixture of violently short tempered, you’re a loner since you think I should kill myself, making you not value human life and good people at that.. thats strike 2 for 3 on my new “Is this guy really the next teenage serial killer? or just developementally disabled? test.
