With mixed feelings I hereby release the final episode of Daily Lives of High School Boys.
It’s been my pleasure and privilege to bring you Daily Lives of High School Boys for these past three months as group leader of [sage] and translator of this show. It’s not only been instrumental to the growth of my group, but also my growth as a translator and group leader.
I had no idea when I started working on this show that it would be the best comedy of the season and wildly popular on the forums. I just thought I would sub a show that was sure to get neglected… and I’m very glad I did.
I will always have fond memories about this show and favorite moments that I will take with me. I hope you do too.

Thanks everybody for subbing Nichbros. This show provided all the hilarious dialogue which I expected from Nisemonogatari (biggest disappointment of last season imo).

You said you don’t use honorifics because they aren’t necessary. In this episode they are necessary. How can you translate Kagaya-san with Miss Kagaya? It’s shit. When does a guy call a classmate miss?
I don’t understand why fansubs hate so much honorifics. If the fansubs use them, more people will download the anime. It doesn’t take so much time to write -kun, -san, -sama after the name, and you don’t have to waste time to invent stupid translation when you have to explain that a character call another character xxx instead of xxx-san.
For anti-honorifics people: Honorifics are always important to uanderstand the relationship between characters. And you don’t die if you learn something new about another culture.
Anyway thank you very much for the release. You make a good work. If only you use honorifics…
